I traveled from San Antonio, Texas to Iowa to block walk for Dean in the primaries. The spirit of the Dean meetups was very progressive and infectious. A Dean presidency would have absolutely set a different, more positive course for the country. I feel there is a direct link from Dean to Obama to Sanders to Warren and to the Squad. Grassroots efforts with the people and for the people grow the best politicians.
