One little nit pick: building consensus and unity behind a group goal can look like planning, but it is real action. Without unity, groups accomplish little that is meaningful.

I mention this because I have the serious “give me a doer over a planner any day” attitude and only recognizing how that attitude came off to many others as arrogant, did I learn to appreciate the crucial and necessary work of the unity builders.

Often it is better for 1000 people to make one step forward than for one person to rush ahead 1000 steps.
