That’s right, Jed. So the next time you seek out a conversation I suggest you don’t start off by ridiculing your partner in the potential endeavor as you did in your first response to my original response to this thread:

Quoting you:

Hey Mike, Mr. Science guy,

Have you even bothered to look at the stats. Under 60, this disease is less deadly than the flu even after you catch it.

I guess the only facts that you consider are the ones that align with your politics.

Just in case you can’t see the beams in both our eyes, let me break it down for you:“Mr. Science guy…even bothered…only facts…that align with your politics” — ad hominem attacks suggesting that the other side in an argument lacks credentials or personal characteristics prerequisite to defending their argument.

Instead of just presenting your argument right off the bat you simply ridiculed me. In internet parlance that is called “Trolling”. Trolls don’t get fed much here at Medium. That’s why I insisted on leaving the burden to you of proving up your argument in the light of readily available refutations. You see I can just as easily just ask you, “Hey Jed, Mr. Science Guy, Have you bothered to look at the stats since you only seem to consider the ones that align with your politics?” Yes, projection is a bitch. I’m satisfied that readers here can read the articles we presented and make up their own minds. That’s good enough for me.
